Connect and Grow with People who Care
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are Core Groups?
Core groups are small groups of people who meet during the week (normally for about two hours) and who want to develop friendships, grow in their faith, and actively love God and love people.
Q: What happens in a typical Core Group?
Most groups meet in homes and enjoy a balanced blend of social time, bible study, and prayer. During the social period, the members catch up with one another and enjoy drinks and snacks. During bible study, members will discuss scripture and how to apply it in a real life, practical way. Finally, the members pray with and for one another.
Q: Why join a Core Group?
We want everyone who calls Highlands "home" to experience the three elements of our mission statement. We want you to connect and meet others who you can call friends. We want you to grow in your knowledge of Christ. Finally, we want to actively care for each other and serve others through our Core Groups.
